Solang Valley : 13 kms.away from Manali is a splendid valley between Solang village and Beas Kund. Solang valley offers the view of glaciers and snow-capped mountains and peaks. It has fine ski slopes. The Mountaineering Institute has installed a ski lift for training purpose.

Rohtang (51 km) :
The Pass (3890m) is the gateway to the Lahaul and Spiti valleys and after Shimla the second entry point to the tribal region. It is a major tourist attraction offering sledging, skiing, and tobogganing and a chance to frolic in the snow. On the road to Rohtang Pass is the spring Nehru Kund (6km) and the Rahalla falls (16 km) at 2500m. |
